The individual analysis for each scenario must address each of the following:
Description of the ethical issue (s) – Who did what and when
DO NOT REPEAT THE SCENARIO
- Identification and discussion of which of the various seven parties are involved in the issue(s), and their relationships, impacts, and responsibilities. Include how each party is either impacted or not impacted by the ethical issue(s).
- Identification and discussion of the applicable elements in the AIC Code of Ethics that pertain to that issue. Some scenarios may be involve more than one element in the AIC Code of Ethics.
Discussion of the adequacy of the AIC Code of Ethics in addressing the issue(s)
Any recommendations on additions or modifications to the AIC Code of Ethics to better address the issue(s), or company ethics policy to address the issue.
